You Don’t Have to be Exposed to Noises That Physically Hurt in Order for Them to be Damaging

A wide range of common sounds can lead to noise induced hearing loss, including gunshots, chain saws, lawn mowers, city traffic, garbage trucks, and more. Store-bought ear plugs can help to dampen some of the noise, but they are not designed to provide the level of protection that our delicate ear drums truly need.

KYLE R. KOCH, A.A., BC-HIS

President & Owner

(360) 695-8742

Kyle is the President, Owner, and primary Hearing Care Provider at Advanced Hearing Aids, taking ownership of the practice in 2019. A native Washingtonian, Kyle grew up immersed in hearing healthcare; not only watching his father run a successful practice for many years, but also having a sister born with single-sided hearing loss. After obtaining an Associate Degree from Clark College in 2009, Kyle decided to join his father’s business, attaining dual licensure in both Oregon and Washington states as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and later earning his National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 2012. He has now worked as a Hearing Care Provider at Advanced Hearing Aids for over 12 years, regularly attending professional education seminars to keep up with best fitting practices and the ever-changing hearing healthcare landscape. In addition to fitting the industry’s leading hearing instrument technology, Kyle loves to educate and counsel his clients and their loved ones on the impact their hearing loss has and how to get the most out of their new or existing hearing instruments.

Outside of the office, Kyle has a wife, four beautiful children, and an Australian Labradoodle who keep him very busy!
